Brazil is the biggest country in Latin America. The corruption there is also in its pics. People try to survive somehow and one of the ways is to open small business or so. Sounds easy? Well in order your business to exist you need permits and licenses. The strategy is exactly the same, just in any other Latin American country- bribes. Companies can give a bribe so the process can go faster or just go the normal way and get their licenses and permits who knows when."The police operation, named 'Operation Razor', has led to the arrest of 50 politicians, lobbyists and businessmen who were involved in the scandal in which Gautama bribed legislators to gain infrastructure contracts in their regions or municipalities."Companies can expect to go through 18 steps and this can take roughly 160 days, so they need to bribe officials so the process goes faster.
